CHC is located in the southern tier of New York, one hour south of Buffalo, surrounded by the beautiful hills and forests of Chautauqua County. CHC has a unique ministry to the youth of the area, many of whom have grown up in broken families or in one of the many trailer communities. Among CHC’s best assets are the staff that volunteer each year as Camp Counselor/Missionaries (CCM’s).

CHC hosts camps during the summer, for young people from grades 3–12. There are also mission camps for teens. The CHC summer camps are built upon Godly direction, great staff, and good fun.

We give the staff (CCM’s) great responsibility and flexibility in ministering to the students. Each CCM oversees one cabin of approximately eight same-sex young people. Funds are available to help cover some travel expenses. Your work is hard, but your reward is very great. Because of your ministry, many of these youth attend freely, and some make commitments to Christ. You will also be able to follow-up with campers’ families, and challenge and strengthen Christian campers in their faith and mission.
